Sherburne County Homeowner Rehabilitation Loan Program
Sherburne County, through the Housing Trust Fund, now provides a low-interest rehabilitation loan program to Sherburne County homeowners with moderate to very-low income. This Homeowner Rehabilitation Loan program to provide low-interest loans to property owners in order to facilitate the replacement or repair of failing/faulty systems currently presenting as a hazard, danger, or otherwise unsafe/unsanitary condition, energy efficiency upgrades/replacements, and/or necessary accessibility accommodations.
In order to qualify for the Homeowner Rehabilitation Loan Program, homeowners must have already applied to the MN Housing Home Improvement Programs for their rehabilitation project. Homeowners may apply for Homeowner Rehabilitation Loan Program if their rehabilitation project exceeds approved funding through MN Housing's Home Improvement Programs or if the homeowner was denied funding through MN Housing's Home Improvement Programs. Homeowners must have a household income of or below 115% Area Median Income (currently at or less than $152,260) and the property must be located in Sherburne County.
